Before spring gets here and Rehabbing goes full force we thought it would good to have someone come in and talk about the new laws effecting Rehabbing / Remodeling. These changes will have a major impact on your cost and the way you are rehabbing.

Mr. Kenneth Bakari will be speaking on the federal govt's new Renovator & Remodeling certification requirement.

Originally from Detroit, MI, Mr. Bakari is a graduate of Fisk University and Meharry Medical College School of Graduate studies.  He is a former State of TN employee.  He worked with the TN OSHA division for 8 years, and then moved to the Dept. of Env. and Conservation and helped develop the State Lead Hazard Program.  He now has his own company, Phase One Consultants, LLC.  This company is involved in Lead Abatement Training, EPA Renovator training, Industrial hygiene and safety training.

Landlording Tip- If you have slow running drains you can use a natural and environmentally safe product to dissolve the clog. Pour a ½ cup of baking soda, ½ cup of white vinegar and ½ cup of water in the drain. Let it sit 10 minutes in the drain and flush with clear water. GO GREEN………
